Types of candles (pillar / container) and why various wax?
There are different types of candles, including pillar candles and container candles.
Here we explain the differences to you:
Pillar candles are candles that are used without a container or cover. They are made of compact wax and often have a columnar shape. Pillar candles can be made from different types of wax, including paraffin, beeswax, soy wax, and palm wax. The wax you choose depends on factors such as the desired look, burn time, and scent release.
Container candles, on the other hand, are used in a container or jar. The wax is poured into the container and forms a sort of "pool" around the wick once the candle burns. Container candles can also be made from different types of wax, depending on the desired properties.
