Instructions - How do I melt old candles?
Would you like to be particularly environmentally friendly and make a new candle from candle scraps that have already been used? We'll show you how it works!
But first: what are recycled candles?
Recycled candles are candles that are made from previously used candle leftovers or leftover wax. Instead of throwing away the leftovers, they are melted down, cleaned and refused to make new candles. This proces reduces waste and enables sustainable use of resources.
Get excited to create your own recycled candle!
To give your candle a pleasant scent, you can use special fragrance oils. We also offer candle colors that give your candles a great look!
All you need for your recycled candle is:
- wax and candle residue

4. Addition of fragrance oil and dyes
- First add the dye and mix it well
- Add the fragrance oil to the melted wax

- We describe further information on dosing the candle scent here
5. Pouring
- Carefully pour the melted wax into the container, keeping the wick in the centre
